Les Arcanes Baroques wins three prizes at the Göttingen International Händel Competition

On Tuesday 19 May, early music ensemble Les Arcanes Baroques won three prizes at the 2026 Göttingen International Händel Competition. The ensemble, made up of students from the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, received the First Prize, shared with Duo Lucescuro from Vienna. They also won the special ‘Music and Space’ Prize for programming and concept, and the Bärenreiter Urtext Prize.
Following their success at the competition, Les Arcanes Baroques has been invited to perform at the Kölner Philharmonie in September and at the Göttingen International Händel Festival next year. Congratulations!
