As of September 1^st, 2021, Minister of Education, Culture and Science van Engelshoven has appointed Marlon Titre and Hildegard Schneider as members of the Dutch Unesco Commission. The appointment is for a period of four years, with the possibility of extension.

Dr. Marlon Titre is the Head of the Classical Music Department at the Royal Conservatoire. As a guitarist and composer, he gave concerts all over the world for many years. He is a board member of the New European Ensemble, the Genootschap Nederland Aruba and the Dutch Don't Dance Division. He is also an advisor to the Performing Arts Fund. Titre: “As a new member of the Unesco Commission, I will commit myself to a sustainable society. Science and education play an important role in this, as do art and culture. In doing so, I will pay particular attention to a close cooperation with the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.”
