At the age of seven, Bénédicte began playing the flute at a small music school in her town. It was in this rich and stimulating environment that she discovered her passion for music. In 2012, she left her home country to study in Rotterdam. She first attended Codarts, the Rotterdam Conservatory, where she studied under Juliette Hurel (principal flutist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra), Julie Moulin (second flutist of the Concertgebouw Orchestra), and Wim Steinmann (former piccoloist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra). She obtained her Bachelor's degree in 2016. She then continued her specialization at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under Vincent Cortvrint (solo piccoloist of the Concertgebouw Orchestra), earning her Master's degree in 2018.
Alongside her flute studies, Bénédicte developed a strong interest in the piccolo. She dedicated her master research to writing a method for the instrument and in February 2015, she made her solo debut performing Vivaldi's Piccolo Concerto in C major with the Codarts String Orchestra, conducted by none other than Gordan Nikolic.
Orchestral performance plays a central role in her musical career. In 2013 and 2015, she performed with the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands. Since 2014, she has been regularly engaged as a flutist and piccoloist by professional orchestras such as Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, SWR Symphony Orchestra, Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, Philharmonie Zuidnederland, and Noord Nederlands Orkest.
Since February 2022, Bénédicte is solo piccolo of the Noord Nederlands Orkest.
