Claudio Jr De Rosa is an Italian saxophonist, clarinetist, arranger and composer.
After completing a Master in Classical & Contemporary Saxophone in Italy, he moved to The Netherlands, where he completed a Master in Jazz Saxophone and a Master in Music Theory, both at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
De Rosa has been awarded multiple times and has released records as leader, co-leader, and sideman, performing in Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa. His arrangements and compositions have been commissioned from several ensembles around the world, spanning from a small combo to a full wind orchestra.
He joined the Music Theory Faculty of the Royal Conservatoire in 2021, where he currently teaches Jazz Arranging, Composition, and Relations between Classical and Jazz Music.
