During A Little Bit Dramatic, students from the Vocal Studies Department present the outcomes of the Performance Skills course Making Your Own Performance. For this project, each student has created a short theatrical work based on two simple requirements: to sing and to speak.
Guided by Elsina Jansen and Carolien Drewes, the students have explored text, music, movement and visual elements through an intensive creative process. From the initial idea to the final performance, they have developed scripts, staging concepts and production plans while discovering and refining their own artistic voice.
The result is an evening of original and highly personal performances that showcase the students’ creativity, imagination and individuality.
Please note that the event will be presented in two sessions of approximately 90 minutes each. Audiences are welcome to attend one or both sessions.
