KC Jazz Big Band Plays Students' Works

The KC Jazz Big Band presents an evening dedicated entirely to new compositions and arrangements by students of the Jazz Department. Guided by composition and arranging teacher Claudio Jr. De Rosa, students have developed their own musical ideas and transformed them into works for big band.

The concert showcases the diversity and creativity of a new generation of jazz composers. From energetic grooves and inventive harmonies to contemporary orchestrations, each work offers a distinctive musical voice and fresh perspective on the big band tradition.
