This concert marks the beginning of the year of collaborative performances between the Netherlands-based creative musicians Milana Zarić and Richard Barrett and the Swiss musicians gathered around the Bruit association, led by Jonas Kocher and Gaudenz Badrutt. The programme includes three world premieres and features works by Dutch/Swiss composer Cathy van Eck, the American composer and saxophonist extraordinaire Anthony Braxton, as well as new works by Patricia Bosshard and the duet Barrett/Zarić.
The Third space concert at the New Music Lab of the Royal Conservatoire/Institute of Sonology is part of a series of build-up events leading towards the opening of the SoundHouse, a new performance space for contemporary music and experimental practices @ the Energiekwartier’s DCR complex in The Hague – in late winter 2026.
