European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) in The Hague

1 October 2025

From 22 to 26 October 2025, the Royal Conservatoire The Hague will once again host ensembles and musicians from across Europe during the ECMA Session. This intensive week is part of the programme of the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) – a leading network of conservatoires, festivals, and chamber music specialists.

The ECMA Session is a biennial event that brings together selected ensembles for coaching, lectures, and masterclasses led by renowned ECMA tutors. On Tuesday 21 October, the Conservatoire will also host the ECMA Day: a special day where students from the Royal Conservatoire work closely with ECMA teachers and take part in joint activities with international ensembles.

Both events offer a unique opportunity for artistic exchange at the highest level, with young musicians working intensively with some of Europe’s most respected chamber music experts.

  • Minna Pensola (violin) – Meta4 Quartet
  • Arnau Tomàs (cello) – Cuarteto Casals
