On 30 September 2024, the Royal Conservatoire The Hague opened the Louis Andriessen Studio, a tribute to one of the most influential composers in Dutch music history. The studio, filled with personal objects of Andriessen such as his grand piano and score cabinet, provides an inspiring workspace for students of Composition.

During the festive opening, Lies Colman, director of the Royal Conservatoire, played on Andriessen's grand piano. This special moment was captured in a video. Watch the video below.
