Cassandra Miller Festival

Sticker-KC-200

The Composition Department welcomes Cassandra Miller as composer-in-residence this autumn. After graduating in 2008 with Yannis Kyriakides and Richard Ayres, she returns for three weeks of public masterclasses, rehearsals, lectures and listening sessions. The period concludes with the Cassandra Miller Festival, from 9 to 12 December.

The programme includes Dry Bones, an opening night in collaboration with various departments of the Royal Conservatoire, an evening with the Contemporary Ensemble Academy, a concert with the Bozzini Quartet and string quartets from the Royal Conservatoire, and a final concert with Modelo62. The festival follows on from the historical composer portraits previously organised by the department.
