Applicable students will receive an email from the coordinator of the Classical Department with all the information about the application, which will be open from May 1st 2025.

Deadline for application is June 1st 2025.

The audition this year will be held in two rounds.

Round 1: After you are admitted to the KC Master’s programme, you will be asked to submit:

  • A motivation letter (350-450 words) that explains your motivation for applying and how the specialisation is integrated into your Master Project Plan
  • a video recording with the theme WOOD based on the concept of our Loading Dock Sessions.
    The format for the audition is a shot in one take, filmed with one camera. This way you get the chance to present yourself

Applicants will be informed if they are invited to the 2nd round on 13 June 2025.

Round 2: If you pass round 1, you will be invited for the second round (live). Here we ask you to play a solo piece of your choice. Also you will work together with players of HIIIT.
(If it’s not possible to attend this audition live, we ask you to send a video of a solo piece of your choice, and there will be a zoom meeting with HIIIT.)

    The video and motivation letter have to be delivered before the first of June.

    The second round will be held at 22-06-2025 in Den Haag at the Studio of HIIIT (times to be confirmed).

    If you get accepted, HIIIT will pay your tuition fee, and you will be part of a diversity of projects in our group during the coming season.
