Robin Koek is a sound designer, music producer, and mixing engineer working at the intersection of art, technology, and sound.

With a granular, sculptural approach to audio, he creates large-scale interactive works that transform studio practices into immersive public experiences, ranging from multi-channel to audio augmented reality projects. His research in spatial composition, site-specific design, and interactive audio has been featured by Q-O2 (Brussels), presented at the AES International Conference on Spatial and Immersive Audio (Huddersfield), and showcased at the Ableton Loop Conference (Berlin), among other platforms.

Robin’s exhibition and performance practice spans diverse geographies, informing his teaching philosophy. He emphasizes a holistic approach, viewing the studio as an adaptive environment that balances contemporary innovations with respect for tradition.
