The Royal Conservatoire Alumni Office offers support to all her alumni in the work field. We do that in many different ways. There are times when you are in need of some very practical assistance, for instance when you need a copy of your diploma or want to let us know you've moved. Perhaps there are times when you are looking for some extra support, for instance in case of career development or further learning opportunities. We're here for you for all those type of questions.

  • Email: Starting the academic year 2025-2026, your koncon.nl account remains active for another year. This allows you to use your koncon.nl email address, access the KC portal and make use of the applications in MS Office Suite during this time. 
  • Contact details: Please update your contact details with Student Administration (ESC)
  • Alumni gift: Don't forget to pick up your special Royal Conservatoire alumni sweater at room 4.47 and wear it proudly!
  • Alumni Community: Register as alum on the online community platform. Build your profile and visit the alumni job board, find fellow alumni worldwide, join alumni groups, register for events or start your crowdfunding.
  • DUO: Update your status with the DUO with regards to financing, OV travel card and other allowances.

Please contact Student Administration (ESC) for a copy of your diploma, a transcript or other testimonials with regards to your education at the Royal Conservatoire. Make sure to include your name, department and years you studied at the Royal Conservatoire in your email request.

Library: All alumni are granted life long privileges at the Royal Conservatoire library. Together with the music collection of The Hague Public Library and the Netherlands Music Institute (NMI), the KC library constitutes an extensive music library on the fifth floor of the Central Library. It offers a great collection of collected works, reference books, scores, journals, magazines, CDs and digital resources. There are also study places available. Alumni are welcome during regular opening hours from Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Career Development Office: For the first year after graduation, your KC account provides you with access to the extensive resources available via the Career Development Office. It serves as a starting point and includes information on a vast array of topics, such as how to find work in the Netherlands, the tax system, music publishing, marketing & communications, and fundraising & sponsorships.

Discount on concert tickets: Alumni are offered a 10% discount on ticket prices of performances of the Royal Conservatoire, including selected performances at off site venues. The events calendar is listed on the online on the KC website. Please book your tickets through the Royal Conservatoire ticket shop by using the special code AlumniKC (case sensitive). Please note discounted tickets are for personal use only and based on availability.

Discount KC webshop: Alumni are offered a 10% discount on purchases in the webshop, which offers a range of KC branded merchandise including special items celebrating the 200 Jubilee year. Use the special code AlumniKC.

Practice rooms: Unfortunately, because of limited space the Royal Conservatoire is not able to provide practice rooms to alumni. Please contact the Alumni Office for contact details of other venues in the vicinity that can provide practice rooms.
