Spinoza’s philosophical exploration of human emotions inspired Jeonghyun Choi in creating his compositions. He sought to translate Spinoza’s insights into sound. Each piece reflects on a (personal) emotion and searches for its essence through the freedom of jazz.
The quartet consists of: Jeonghyun Choi, piano; Seyeon Lee, double bass; Pablo Cruz Placer, tenor saxophone; and Dāvids Eglitis, drums.
