Key Encounters - Karst de Jong and Bert Mooiman
Two pianists, two grand pianos, one evening of musical encounters. In Key Encounters, Karst de Jong, former teacher at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and now affiliated with the YST Conservatory in Singapore, joins Bert Mooiman, teacher at the Royal Conservatoire, to explore the art of ‘classical’ improvisation.
There is no fixed programme. Expect musical dialogues, duo improvisations in a range of styles and spontaneous turns inspired by the moment.
