Alumna Diamanda Dramm wins Dutch Classical Talent Award

Violinist Diamanda La Berge Dramm won the finals of the Dutch Classical Talent Award at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht on Sunday, 29th April 2018. She studied at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with Vera Beths.

Diamanda receives a prize of 10,000 EURO, as well as a performance in the Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on 7th June 2018. Her name will be mentioned in the hall’s gallery of honour.

The jury was elated about Diamanda’s performance. Head of the jury Tim Moen: ‘With this phenomenon, we have chosen the future.’

Dutch Classical Talent – Tour & Award is a talent development project of 18 months for young musicians up to the age of 28 (30 for singers) that are studying at or have graduated from one of the Dutch conservatoires. The tour consisted of twelve concerts past all large houses in the Netherlands; the final round was the last concert. The participants were featured extensively on the Dutch Classical Radio (NPO Radio 4).
