Students from the Early Music Department present a colourful programme of string quartets from the 16th to the 19th century, performed on historical instruments. Following a 19th-century concert tradition, movements are presented in a non-linear order. This creates a varied programme, allowing the audience to experience a broad spectrum of styles and expressions from four centuries of chamber music.

A unique opportunity to hear talented young musicians explore the rich and resonant world of early string quartet repertoire.
