Fortepiano Festival 2026
To mark 200 years of the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, the Royal Conservatoire presents the FortePianoFestival from 28 to 30 April 2026 in the Conservatoriumzaal at Amare. For three days, the fortepiano takes centre stage, performed by teachers and students from the Early Music and Classical Music departments.
Throughout the festival, the Royal Conservatoire’s complete collection of historical pianos will be heard. This remarkable collection was largely made possible by the support of the Adriana Jacoba Fund. The instruments reveal the rich sound world of the fortepiano across the centuries.
Special guest Ronald Brautigam will give a recital and lead public masterclasses.
