Classical Music

The Classical Music Department is at the heart of today’s music culture. We challenge you to develop your own creative vision and talent. Most of our teachers pursue international careers as performing musicians. The students in the Classical Music Department play in the Conservatoire’s symphony orchestra, which organises many very interesting projects, as well as forming the basis for the department's succesful one-year Orchestra Master in association with the Residentie Orkest.
