De Muziekwedstrijd is an initiative of the Princess Christina Concours. In addition, they also organize an online competition: De Muziekwedstrijd. All children aged 4 to 19 living in the Netherlands or Flanders are allowed to participate. To participate, children send in a selfmade video that can last a maximum of 4 minutes. The jury watched almost 600 videos and presented 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, honorable mentions and prizes for original movies. Public prizes have also been awarded. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners can perform during De Muziekdag, a festive and musical conclusion to De Muziekwedstrijd. The other prize winners will also be honored on De Muziekdag.
