Update Open Festival and Next Generation Festival

15 November 2021

The partial lockdown announced by the government on 12 November indicates that the situation surrounding corona is very serious. Health and safety must always be our paramount concern. The measures that have been announced will affect the Amare Open Festival (19 to 21 November) and the Next Generation Festival (25 to 28 November).

Open Festival
The Managing Boards of Amare, Residentie Orkest Den Haag, Nederlands Dans Theater and the Royal Conservatoire have regretfully been forced to cancel the Open Festival festivities (Friday 19 to Sunday 21 November). A number of activities can take place in a trimmed down form. More information about this can be found at amare.nl.

Next Generation Festival
To our great regret also the Next Generation Festival (Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 November), due to its character and the many movements within the building it would involve, will be cancelled. We just can’t organize the festival as it was supposed to be. Have you bought tickets? Then you do not need to take any action now, you will be contacted as soon as possible.
