In order to apply, you must first register via Studielink and then gain access to our application system where you will be asked to submit your documents including a portfolio and Master Project Plan.

The deadline to submit your portfolio and other required documents is for all candidates: 26 February 2026.

General requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English Non-EU/EEA candidates are required to provide proof of English Language proficiency. EU/EEA candidates' English language level will be assessed during their interview/entry examination day.

Additional requirements

As part of the admission and selection procedure for the ArtScience Master’s programme at the Royal Conservatoire, you are asked to write a Master Project Plan demonstrating your artistic talent, intellectual curiosity, and affinity with diverse methods and disciplines, as well as your potential to study in a conservatoire context. You are also asked to present examples of previous work or research and to explain your motivation for pursuing the programme.

You’ll be requested to include the following material:

  • Portfolio (max. 20 pages, max. 10 recent important works)
  • Master Project Plan
  • Resume (curriculum vitae, max 1 A4)
