Composer and alumnus of the Royal Conservatoire, Jan-Peter de Graaff has been nominated for 65th International Rostrum of Composers.

Jan-Peter graduated from the Royal Conservatoire The Hague in 2016. He was taught by Calliope Tsoupaki, Guus Janssen, and Diderik Wagenaar. He has written for the ASKO|Schönberg ensemble and the Residentie Orchestra, among others.

The Dutch Public Service Broadcasting has nominated his piece Le Café de Nuit for the International Rostrum of Composers - one of the most prestigious prices in the world of new music. Previous laureates included Louis Andriessen and Martijn Padding.
