On 27 March, Joost Kuiper from the Adriana Jacoba Fonds officially handed over our new double manuel harpsichord, which was specially built for us by Titus Crijnen, after F. et N. Blanchet, 1733. This unique instrument is a beautiful addition to our range of historical keyboard instruments. The inauguration concert was performed by our student Peter Drozd, and the donation was received gratefully by the Early Music community of the Royal Conservatoire.

Master harpsichord student Francesco Elgorni wrote: 'Thank you so much for this precious addition, the instrument already sounds and feels amazing to me! There isn't much else I have to say honestly ... I only wish to get more time to know it better!'
