The magic flute
Wind sextet Coloquio 6 and animator Dax Niester jointly present The Magic Flute: Animating Mozart, an opera production told in a simple yet profound way that will enchant listeners of all ages. This project aims to perform Mozart's most famous opera Die Zauberflöte entirely in his style with only seven people. Furthermore, they are historically informed musicians who play historical instruments and follow the aesthetics of the style of the time to bring excitement to the music.

‘By depicting the characters in minimalist black and white figures, the humorous argument will reach its most powerful expression. The resulting collaboration is a must-see for all lovers of innovative art and classical music. We believe that such a show is plausibly relevant in terms of historicity”, according to the jury report.
