Trio Tenorizans and Il Parrasio, both consisting of Early Music students from the Royal Conservatoire, have won first prizes at international competitions.
Trio Tenorizans
Trio Tenorizans participated in the international chamber music competition ‘À tre’ in Trossingen, Germany. The competition, organised by the Hochschule für Musik Trossingen, provides a platform for Early Music students and graduates to showcase their talents and took place from 9 to 13 October 2024. Trio Tenorizans won the first prize of € 6000 and a special prize for a concert in Schloss Bad Krozingen.
Trio Tenorizans consists of Władysław Lech (historical clarinet), Agata Sorotokin (cembalo and hammerklavier) and Antonio Pellegrino (historical cello). The ensemble has impressed with their performances of works by Anton Eberl and Ludwig van Beethoven.
Il Parrasio
Il Parrasio won both the highest awarded prize and the special audience award ‘Rovereto, City of Peace’ at the international baroque violin competition Premio Bonporti. The ensemble consists of Eriko Nagayama (violin), Ajda Porenta (violin), Luka Stefanović (cello) and Alessandro Papa (organ and harpsichord). The Premio Bonporti takes place every two years in October in Rovereto, Italy.
