ECMA at Pulchri Studio

Every year, chamber music ensembles from all over Europe attend the week-long training session organised by the European Chamber Music Academy in The Hague. During the week, the ensembles also give a number of concerts with varied programmes.

Founded in 2004 on the initiative of Hatto Beyerle (Alban Berg Quartet), the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) is a joint programme organised by European universities, music schools and chamber music festivals to provide training for young music ensembles. Together with the Viennese violinist Johannes Meissl (Artis Quartet), Beyerle brought together the best teachers and the most talented young ensembles in Europe and established the ECMA as one of the leading training programmes for chamber music ensembles.

This year the young musicians and their internationally renowned teachers will once again be visiting The Hague to develop their artistic skills. The ensembles will be coached by Ásdís Valdimarsdóttir, Arisa Fujita, Renee Jonker, Patrick van Deurzen and other national and international musicians.

You have the option to reserve a spot for our dinner before the concert. You can reserve a spot until Oct. 13th by email. The dinner will be held between 18.00 - 19.30h check Pulchri Studio for more info.
