Due to the corona measures, the Amare Open Festival can’t take place. A number of activities can take place in a trimmed down form. More information about this can be found at amare.nl.

Together with national and international participants and local partners, Amare’s four resident companies will be opening the doors to the public for the first time during the Open Festival on 19, 20 and 21 November:

• Under the title Wij Den Haag, ensembles and dance companies formed specially for the occasion have been rehearsing and performing throughout The Hague since September in preparation for the festive opening of Amare, where they can also be seen and heard.

• Admire the building and the exceptional detail during the official open-air opening ceremony on Friday 19 November.

• Explore Amare with Introducing Amare on 19 and 20 November.

• Usher in the night with 50 Years of Hague Hits on 20 November.

• Stumble across a variety of acts as you wander through Amare on Saturday 20 November. Be swept up in the jam sessions or swing along with the wind and percussion parade.

• Sunday 21 November is family day in Amare, with plenty of hands-on activities for children and a family concert by Fazil Say, as well as the grand production Feest!
