You can audition for the Lied Specialisation in combination with the audition to the Master in your main subject Classical Voice or Classical Piano. Ideally, this audition takes place just before or just after the audition for the Mater. When you have question about this, you contact the head of the Vocal Department via m.niels@koncon.nl

Please note: an additional requirement for registration is a video recording of you as a duo with a French and a German song. This additional requirement applies also for candidates that apply individually, with the difference that the duo partner will not be judged in this case.

For the live audition you will prepare:

  • a programme of 6 songs from different periods and styles (the previously submitted songs are part of this)
  • the programme includes 3 languages and at least 1 song by Franz Schubert
  • a poem of your choice (preferably in your own language) that you can recite from memory. This requirement applies to both the singer and the pianist (for individual applications, this obviously only applies to the person applying)

During the audition, you will be asked about your motivation for the specialisation and about your Master Project Plan.
