The Master Specialisation Lied offers you the perfect opportunity to connect to the three Master Project domains and put them into practice. You can do this as a duo, however, it is also possible to carry out your research and professional integration activity individually.

In the domain of Artistic development, in addition to your weekly individual main subject lessons (voice or piano), you will receive weekly duo coaching within the specialisation, and there is a monthly theme session by experts in Lied repertoire.

During your training, you will visit the ILFZ twice. The first year as a passive participant, the second year as an active participant in the six-day masterclass. The masterclass week will end with a public concert in which you will participate as a duo.

As part of your Research, you will conduct research on a topic within the Lied repertoire or the performance practice of Lied. Your research supervisor is a specialist assigned to you within the subject of your research.

Within the domain of Professional Integration, you will develop a view of your future professional practice. You design a project that is linked to your research theme, you will receive lessons in project management and, if possible, you will be guided by a coach from the ILFZ to carry out your project. If the progress is sufficient, you may have the opportunity to carry out your Professional Integration Activity as part of the festival programming.
