Students from the Collaborative Music Creation course at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague present CHORDIAL: a newly created collective work opening Rewire’s context programme at West Den Haag.

This performance brings together improvisation and composition. Layers of sound mark transitions between evolving melodic structures. The timing of these transitions emerges in the moment, shaped by the performers’ interaction. A dynamic dialogue unfolds between fixed musical ideas and spontaneous decisions.

The Collaborative Music Creation course connects students from across departments and explores music-making beyond fixed boundaries between improvisation and composition.
