Following its recent popular production of Rossini’s L’occasione fa il ladro, the DNOA returns to the Bredewegfestival with Rossini’s delightful comic opera La cambiale di matrimonio (the marriage contract). Rossini’s first staged work, it is one of the five one-act operas written for the Venetian Teatro San Moisè. The DNOA production will be directed by Daniel van Klaveren (artistic director Theater Sonnevanck) and designed by Maartje Prins.
The Dutch National Opera Academy is a two-year master's programme for highly talented young opera singers, focusing on the integration of singing and acting. It is a partnership of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague.
