Lunchconcert - Strijkkwartetten

This lunchtime concert features three remarkable string quartets from the European repertoire. The Panorama Quartet opens with Dvořák’s sunny and lyrical American Quartet, followed by Beethoven’s energetic Seventh Quartet. The concert concludes with Prokofiev’s Second String Quartet, a powerful work that draws on folk melodies from the Caucasus. A rich and expressive midday programme, performed by talented young musicians from the Royal Conservatoire.
