You can only audition for the Ensemble Singing specialisation after successful admission to the Master of Classical Music Vocal Studies or Early Music Vocal Studies. Click here for the admission requirements for Classical Music Vocal Studies and here for the admission requirements for Early Music Vocal Studies.
Please note: it is recommended to add a video recording in which you can be seen and heard as an ensemble singer.
After you have been officially admitted to the master in your major, you will audition for the specialisation. For this audition you will prepare a programme, still to be determined, about which you will be informed if you are invited to the live auditions of the Master Vocal Studies.
The audition will consist of:
- Singing a solo song or aria of your choice
- Singing a choral part as a soloist
- Singing in an ensemble with prepared repertoire
- Singing in an ensemble with unprepared repertoire (sight reading)
During the audition, you will be asked about your motivation for the specialisation and about your Master Project Plan.
