Catharina Boon, creator, performer and choreographer, graduated cum laude from the Royal Academy of Art The Hague in 1982. She has created her own works, designed ballet costumes and stage sets and created and produced musical-theatre shows in cities including Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, Vancouver, St John’s and Moscow. Since 1982 she has performed a variety of jobs in the Royal Conservatoire’s Dance department and the University of the Arts in relation to organisation, policy, project management, personnel affairs and PR. She has initiated and executed various educational and artistic projects, combining her advisory and management duties with artistic practice. Catharina has been assistant director of the Dance programme since September 2014.
