Teacher Music Theory

Ida Vujović studied Music Pedagogy at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade (Serbia), Music Theory and Music Pedagogy at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Her pedagogical research is related to the integration of solfege, harmony, and music analysis in various stages of (both professional and amateur) music education. Currently she is exploring the potential of Curwen's hand signs as a learning tool in the development of harmonic hearing and towards the improvement of an overall harmonic awareness.
In her music theoretical research, e.g. 'The Power of Long Notes' (published on the Research Catalogue), she has examined the concepts of pedal and drone through the perspectives of expectancy theories and theories of social interaction.
