Instrument Foundation Royal Conservatoire

Students at the Royal Conservatoire who wish to buy a musical instrument may be eligible, subject to certain conditions, for an interest-free loan exclusively for the purpose of purchasing the instrument. The maximum amount that you can borrow is € 6,000 and the loan must be repaid before you complete your studies. Your application form for a loan must be accompanied by a number of additional documents.

Documents

  1. You must be enrolled as a student at the Royal Conservatoire (the term of the loan ends if your enrolment ends).
  2. You must pay a sum of at least € 50 each month into the bank account of the Musical Instrument Fund by means of a direct debit.
  3. Your application must be approved by the teacher of your main subject or the head of department.
  4. If you pay in 12 monthly instalments you will receive a discount of one month’s instalment on your loan.

1. Complete and sign the set of application documents and return them to the secretary of the Musical Instrument Fund, Jan van Bilsen. You can find the application forms below.

2. When you have submitted the completed application form you will be contacted for an interview with the secretary.

3. Your application will be discussed in the directorate and you will then be informed of the decision. If the application is approved, we will make an appointment for you to come and sign the contract for the loan.
