Aram Started playing classical guitar at the age of 8. Switched to bassguitar at the age of 14. Studied both electric and upright bass at the Rotterdam Concervatory. Toured in Europe with Lynn Collins / Marva Withney (James Brown). Joined the rockband Kane from 1999 till 2003. Toured for several years with Trijntje Oosterhuis. Since 2003 joined the Grammy award winning Metropole Orkest with which we did concerts/recordings with (oa) Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Pat Metheney, Gregory Porter, Laura Mvula, Donnie McCaslin, etc. Toured with Caro Emerald. Playing since 2005 untill now In Ilse DeLange her band. Also Playing and recording with Jan van Duikeren 4 (with John Engels and Karel Boehlee). Besides this doing a lot of freelance recording and gigging .
