Entrance exam music theory 2024
You are about to start the Music Theory part of your entrance exam to the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague!
The links below will take you to 10 exercises on the website MusicTheory.net. These 10 elements are all compulsory parts of your Music Theory entrance exam. Please fill in the form before March 1st!
Follow these steps for the entire procedure:
- Go to the assignments via the link in the exercises below.
- After completing each challenge click on 'View Report' (example)
- Type your name in the first empty field
- Click 'Sign Report' (example)
- At the end of each section you will be able to generate a result for that section, which you will get in the form of a verification code (example). A verification code typically looks like this: A-G2KGK-F8J3Y-3GWX8-4N0TP-1R99A-F521N-B909E-1J3SH-8PS7X-V. Make sure to save your verification codes somewhere. For this, you could use our form, but any way is fine!
- You can reset the score to redo an assignment or exercise. Click on top right '...' (example)
- After finishing all 10 sections of the theory entrance exam you have to upload the 10 verification codes in this form.
The last three assignments count more that the first ones. An average score of 80% for the theory test will result in the advice (based on theory): 'admissible to Bachelor 1’.
