The Royal Conservatoire's ChoreoComp (26-31 August) is a course in which 3 choreographers and 3 composers are artistically linked for two days. During ChoreoComp, they will work with students from Royal Conservatoire Dance and the Dance Ensemble to create choreographies and perform them every other day, accompanied live by musicians. These performances are open to the public.
ChoreoComp is under the artistic direction of Jan Linkens (choreographer) and Martijn Padding (composer). This course offers an insight into the creative process of a selected group of choreographers, composers, dancers and musicians. ChoreoComp encourages processes of discovery, experimentation and decision-making.
