Faith In Human Rights

Exactly 75 years ago, members of the United Nations started a cross-cultural dialogue with a view to establishing those rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of nationality, residence, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language or any other status. On 10 December 1948, delegates from every possible background and world view drafted and voted in favor of the 30 articles that now make up the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Ahead of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (December 2023), Initiatives of Change Nederland, the Haagse Hogeschool and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague are coming together to celebrate Human Rights Week and to show how universal human rights impact all of us and to generate excitement and inspiration on this topic. #HumanRightsWeek

The Ensemble Academy will perform some compositions by Kate Moore and some solo pieces by students from the Composition department inspired by their shared experience with the Haagse Hogeschool-International Law Students Association.
