Candidates apply for the master’s programme Audio Communication and Technology at the TU Berlin first; until 15 February of the following year they can apply for a change to The Hague.
Entry requirement is a bachelor’s, master’s or graduate degree in a science, engineering, humanities or social sciences, an artistic-scientific, business or legal terminology or equivalent teaching qualification, acquired from a German or foreign university.
Candidates should demonstrate good knowledge of English, good knowledge of higher mathematics (calculus, linear algebra), as well as knowledge of a programming language or a computer algebra system by study units or appropriate qualifications. It is possible for foreign qualifications to be recognised. The master’s programme in Audio Communication and Technology is restricted (numerus clausus). For admission to the Master of Music in Sonology, students should have a bachelor’s degree in areas such as composition of electronic and/or acoustic music using fixed media, notation, improvisation or some combination of these, computer science, musicology, music perception, film studies, engineering or as a performing musician.
