Join the Amare Gym on Wednesday January 19th!

This Wednesday, January 19th, the Amare Gym will open its doors! You are most welcome to join us between 15:00 – 16:30 for a 'sporty' afternoon.

Programme
On Wednesday afternoon, Amare briefly changes into a gym. And what is a sporty afternoon without music? At the Amare Gym, you will experience to several 'work-outs' by the Residentie Orkest to the music of the Boléro. A number of ensembles consisting of students of the Royal Conservatoire will play in between the work-outs. You can participate or of course just watch.

Corona Measurements
Everyone is welcome to join during this sporty afternoon. We will open the space on the ground floor of Amare according to the latest Corona rules, which have also previously been shown to be safe in a theatre. So, please adhere to the corona rules: show your corona check app, keep 1,5 meters away and wear a mouth cap inside, even when you are sitting on the Tribune stairs.

Why are we supporting this initiative?
On Wednesday, January 19th, museums and theatres in the Netherlands will join the national initiative Kapsalontheater (Hair Dresser Theatre). While artists are allowed to play music, dance, paint and sing on their own, no public is allowed to visit any artistic events, yet. We are therefore joining the Kapsalontheater initiative where theatres and concert venues temporarily become hair salons, nail salons, beauty parlours or fitness studios.

Art is equally important to the public as sports and exercising. Art and culture also need a perspective in times of Corona. Let's make culture accessible to everyone again!
