It is with great pleasure that we announce a brilliant addition to our Muziek als Vak and Kodály Master team. Starting September 2023 László Nemes will officially join the team of the Theory Department at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague as teacher for musicianship, methodology and research supervision.
As a guest teacher, László has visited The Hague twice every year for the Muziek als Vak Masterclass Weekends since its beginning in 2012. We are very excited and proud to now welcome László to the Royal Conservatoire faculty!
Dr. Habil. László Nemes is known worldwide as one of the leading experts in the field of Kodály based music education. He has among other things been active as a teacher and choir conductor (Hungarian Radio Children’s Chorus, and at present the New Liszt Ferenc Chamber Choir and National Youth Choir of Hungary) and is currently director of the Director of the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy of Music in Kecskemét (HU).
With the addition of László to the teaching teams for the Kodály master, and for the Saturday course Muziek als Vak, we believe we can now offer an even more complete Kodály musicianship and methodology training.
